Terms of use of the ÖkoEvent and ÖkoEvent PLUS label

Starting position

Eco-friendly events can be awarded the ÖkoEvent or ÖkoEvent PLUS label in Vienna.

This is under the condition that the event meets the applicable criteria of the checklist in accordance with said checklist and that the selected measures are implemented.

The ÖkoEvent measures should also be noticeable to visitors.

The approved ÖkoEvents will be listed on the City of Vienna’s website www.oekoevent.at once they have been held.

Terms of use for the ÖkoEvent label

• In order to use the ÖkoEvent or ÖkoEvent PLUS logo, the visual specifications of the CD Manual of the City of Vienna must be observed. No changes are permitted.
• The logo may only be used for the submitted and approved event.
• By agreeing to the ÖkoEvent Terms of Use, you commit yourself to implementing the ÖkoEvent measures at the event as listed in the checklist. Please be aware that there may be random checks by the City of Vienna.
• If the event is advertised online, the fact that it is being held as an ÖkoEvent has to be mentioned and a link to the website www.oekoevent.at must be added.
• The events will subsequently be listed on the ÖkoEvent website of the City of Vienna www.oekoevent.at. If you do not consent to this, please inform us immediately at beratung@oekoevent.at.

Announcement and Presentation of the Event

On request, your event can be announced on the website www.oekoevent.at , or presented in the form of a Good Practice Article afterwards.

By sharing photos the organizer agrees that these photos may be used to present the event as a Good Practice Event on the website www.oekoevent.at without restrictions, provided that copyright is given.

Events open to the public can be marked and advertised as ÖkoEvents in the City of Vienna’s event database.
